Lu Bentley:  Acrylic Workshop:   Playing with Acrylics
February 3, Saturday, 10-4
$55 members and $65 non members

The most frequently asked question I hear is:
How do I make the paint “do right”?  It won’t flow or move the way I want it to!!!
I will share products, methods and techniques to help you enjoy playing with the paint
and letting your creative juices flo more easily.

Handling the paint:  Acrylics are a very versatile medium. We will spend as much time as
needed on handling paint using Gesso and glazing fluids.

Design:  Basic design techniques to develop reference material into a finished piece.

Color:  Color mixing is complicated, fun and exciting.  A few guidelines can make it  easier.

Bring your own reference material or use the still life that will be set up. I will demonstrate my
methods as examples, but paint whatever subject you choose.
Bring your own lunch.
Bring paintings that you are not happy with, and we will do some creative analysis.
